1st Layer Studio Outreach/Community Programming
1st Layer is unique in that we are working for/within the community to build upon local arts and production resources of multiple organizations but as well build new opportunity within the business infrastructure of the Mckees Rocks community for youth to obtain work experience in field rarely represented.
Furthermore, 1st Layer serves as an entrepreneurial incubator for the teens by activating them to work through the orders and the community. In this model, youth/teens obtain direct experience in the t shirt business flow but as well can learn the skills necessary to engage their own ideas
